They're roughly 1/3 to 1/2 the length of a trout magnet -- very tiny. I thought they were too small for gills and better suited to trout.
I've been using the TM for bluegill for about ten years. I'd go with that.
Thanks that saves me from ordering. I have never used their products. The gills where I fish just love the pink Gulp Fish Fry on drop shot. I'm tired of the jars leaking so looking for an alternative. I will check out all of their products.

FWIW, I think the MM would be a good bait for gills. It's so small, however, I think you'd have lots of gut-hooking issues.
Good point. Don't need that at all.

The MM catch fish...I do not use them as I cannot see to tie them.

Don't want to threadjack too much, but I was having trouble seeing the line and tying knots in 2 lb. test the last time I went out and ordered a pair of 2.5X magnifiers (Orvis Flip Focal) that I've pinned on my hat brim. Haven't used them on the lake yet, but tried them here at the house after I spooled up my new rod the other day and they worked to help me see the line and the hook eye much easier.
As for mini magnets, I haven't tried them. I do often fish with 1/64th oz black beetles and catch a lot of good brim on them, so I imagine a mini magnet would do likewise. The regular size Trout Magnet has been working so well though I'm not sure I care to try any other size.
I use these for all my small jigs and jig fly attachments. Easy to change baits without retying all the time. Attachment 377365

A pair of cheaters can help a lot. I have progressives on my glasses so I Have good magnification. I also use Stren 2lb crappie and wild trout 3lb in high vis and without the viz I wouldn’t have a prayer. The fish in my local stream don’t seem to mind high viz.

I recently got the Trout Magnet and after a couple outings, I love it. I also love using tiny lures and microfishing so I thought about buying the Mini Magnet. Would you guys say that some 3-4 inch fish would be able to eat the Mini Magnet, or no?
Love these baits I been catching Sunny's, bass and some nice crappie on them!

Bought some Trout magnets and went out Sunday. Nothing against the lures (I'm sure they work well) but holy cow. Fished 5 hours. My son caught bass every other cast with his bass lures. He ended up with about 30 (all released). Me on the other hand concentrated on gills and crappie. Because of how these gills love fluorescent pink I started with Cotton Candy pink on 1 rod and Bison on the other. I swam them back to the boat, I jigged them to the boat, I drifted under a float. After 5 hours all I had to show was a sunburn. No bites, no fish, no kidding. Maybe someday
They definitely catch fish .... Got an assortment for Father's Day ... started fishing them alot ... I haven't noticed more gut hooking... they are tiny for sure... White is my best color ... put 1/2 a white crappie nibble on with them or just a pinch of a red worm...
Sorry to hear that SS. The TMs do work. Stick with them a little longer and don’t give up on them. Some days I tried a few colors to get the match. Bulldog, Rootbeer, and the gold Mealworm have All produced well.
