Crappie/Panfish/Whatever tournament

What do you guys think of a crappie.com washington tournament?

I was just thinking of that today, that is crazy, but yeah i am up for it im am not sure about potholes though unless i can get a place to stay for less then Mar Don i Like the place but do not have the money.but that is an option, IS there any closer lakes.to keep it fun and going ets do it for panfish or perch. more action. Great Idea.

I say, better go for that spring fishery. Early spring to make it more chalenging.

I like august because if were gonna fish for crappie they suspend and get aggresive that time of the year.

okay, but late august.And is this goning to be a winner is the winner type thing. or are we each going to be puttin in money?

I dont know whether it should be bragging rights or a winner $$$ type thing.I think a $15 each would be enough money If it were to be a money tournament.If it is a money tournament we could all call are selfs pros beacause some of us would have to win $$

If you fish money paycheck tournneys does that mean your pro? cause if it is i'll be a pro all summer i hope.. if all goes well$ money wise.

I dont know I think that to be pro you also have to be sponsered and fish tournneys. i kinda what to do one this spring some time just for fun too.

you should enter the lake washington bass tournament, that's the only one i know that happens every year around here, where are some of the others?

Potholes open, Big bass blast,Jr bassmasters as long as your under 18,potholes fall tourney,and some club ones too.

yeah the boeing bass club holds one I think every spring at Duck lake.

But I am not good enought to fish any of the tournements not even the junior one. When it comed to bass I have alot of book knoledge but not much experience, but I would still like to fish one. Oh and my boat can't keep up with the big boys.

I dont think boat size matters i get by with a 9.5 foot boat and a 3.5horse outboard and a small minnkota.I still have outfished the big boys in their 20 footers.

Yeah, having a 250 horse on the back of the 50,000$ bass boat doesn't mean your gonna catch the biggest fish, it's definitely more about experience

Besides with a big boat you cant go through super shallow stuff to get to the good backwaters.

i Am just using it for an excuse.

how does that work? I am interested. I am not the greatest basser but it does sound like some fun. Are all of the tourneys durring the summer? And what are the age requirements? Is there a wed site? Sorry for all of the questions.

are there any websites that list all the washington tournaments or at least some of them becasue of tried to find some but have been completely unsuccessful

as far as i Can tell there is no sight called wabass.com, so if is that right or am I just doing something wrong.

(It is wabass.org) so i found the junior bassmasters and there is one thing that i do not like and that is that you are paired up with other fishermen. is there one that you can fish yourself or chose your own partners. And what do they mean when they say "location TBA"?

it means location is to be announced

All they really do is pair you up with a driver and somebody younger than you for partners.

so it is someone elses boat and they drive and you and someone younger do the fishing. Did I get that right?

yes and you get to use the elctric motor for half the day and then the kid gets to.Thats the one thing I dont like, is some little kid operating the trolling motor because you dont know where their gonna go with it.
