IM ordering a new submersible light For crappie fishing ,was wondering which one works best white or green
:dono Gooch ... it's probably like any of the other "which is better" questions -- it depends on whom you ask !!
Green light does penetrate the water at greater depths than white light ... so there is that factor to consider.
Tried them both...I prefer the green
I use both, but the green works better
It depends on water color. Green river i use a green light. At cland i use a floating white light. For me green light at cland is way to bright for how i fish. If i had a dimmer switch on a floating white light i would use it at cland.
Order both!
Green for me but I have both. If your good with your hands you could build each for about the price of a store bought light.
Green. It's just prettier.
Green is what I use but save yourself a lot of money and build your ownAttachment 376237

I've used both and as you can see by the answers you've gotten it's mostly a matter of which one you like best.
These are 2 that I built. I followed a U tube video and bought the parts on Ebay and the local hardware store. I could get 2 nights of fishing before I had to charge the 4 wheeler battery.
Those look really good
I put two lanterns out on one side and a white light and green on the other. Smorgasbord I guess. Green probably a little better.
