I'd love to see how you rig up to push cranks...
I’ll start pushing them in a week or so. I’ll take a picture of it.
It’s very simple. I use a 3 oz weight at the tag end of my main line with a loop tied in the main line a foot or so up. Same as a Kentucky rig. Put the crank on the loop.

My setup is similar to this other than from the swivel at the end of my main line I attach the 2 or 3 oz weight which has a 3 foot or so leader from it with another swivel to add the crankbait. Always worked well for me. I started "pushing" a few years ago because I didn't want to keep multiple pole setups. Now I have one set of 14ft Denali's that I can slow troll jigs/minnows or I can slap 3 oz weights on them and push cranks!
Swim noodles.

Same for me.....i cut them down and use some duct tape on the outside to make the hole in the middle tighten up. Cut a few slits in the ends then stuff the weight in the hole and wrap the line around and the through one of the slits. Works great for me.Sent from my SM-G988U using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
Yeah I would love to see a picture of that!
Yep, I push cranks in the summer, I use depth seeker line that has a black mark every 5 feet and changes line color every 25 feet. I put a swivel on the tag end of the line at the beginning of a 25 foot segment and attach a 2 ounce weight to the swivel on the opposite end of the weight I attach another swivel with a 3 foot leader that I tie the crank bait onto. Then I use the depth marks on the line to allow me to judge the amount of line out when I get a hit so I can set all cranks to the same depth.
