To all my pushing friends out there I was wondering how long a leader y'all use from the weight to the crank? And are y'all using braid on the main line?
About 3 ft, from your nose to your outstretched arm. Main line....depends who you talk to.
I use 12 pound mono on all my line-counter reels. I use a leader 3-5 feet long with a swivel at the weight and swivel at the crank.
Braid or 20lb mono for main line ... 3-5ft leader from 2oz weight to crank is what I'm using.Quote:

If there are other members that are in the business of making trolling sinkers, I'd recommend checking them out ... otherwise you can check out Crawdads Fishing Tackle ( Fishing Weights and Sinkers
– Crawdads Fishing Tackle LLC ) or if you have a local Cabela's or BassPro (& if you're lucky) you might find some Offshore Angler brand trolling weights.
