Boat motor broke on the way back, luckily it was close to the landing and was able to troll a short distance back, it will not go into gear any more, gonna have to take it apart and figure out the problem, it’s a mercury 25 hp tiller steer.

Very nice catch again. Sorry to hear about the motor, it's not a good feeling. I'm sitting at home right now because mine broke. Looking for a 70 or 90 4 stroke if I can find the right one. I'm waiting on someone to contact me about his that's for sale.

I put in at Bayou Corne, motor broke on the way back right at the no wake zone by landing, was lucky, I’m thinking it might be a simple fix but I will have to look into first. Need to fix it for when that water starts falling in the spillway.

I got it fixed, a bolt came out that holds the gear linkage in, got it back together now and it shifts.

Good for you getting it fixed that easy. Did you fish in the Bayou Corne system or you went all the way to the lake? To the lake is a nice ride.

Bayou corne was muddy, so we went to the lake and into crackerhead, water was better there but still needs to fall 2 or 3 feet.

Nice pic and good job on the fix.
Been catching a lot of Bream there the last several weeks. The water has risen at least 2 feet in the month of April. I hope May is a turn around month. Nice box!
