Acetone and a rag is what I've used. Warning also need lots of elbow grease...
WD-40 dissolves most adhesives.
Alcohol
Vinegar
GOO GONE Cleaner Cleaning Solvent

By far the best I have found is the orange(citric based) cleaners at removing most adhesives. Some are weaker /stronger than others.Spray on and wait a few minutes ,wipe off, then repeat if you have to.Safe on most surfaces.
Decided too start with goo gone. With the help of a scraper blade, all the residue is now off.
Thanks all !
Now I'm sanding the remaining gel coat, that was under the stickers, the only spots gel coat is left. Then the rest of the boat. Prepping for paint.
Not quite warm enough today for fiberglass work, I don't feel like turning on heaters. This needs done anyway.

Sticker and residue removed.
Late, but anyway, Brakleen is my go to, to remove anything.
WD-40 and no worries about damage to the boat
these things work great.

disclaimer: try on a small unnoticable spot before you go buckwild with it, to make sure its not gonna mess up the boats finish. i havent had any issues with them tho.
Goo gone what I use.
Wow
Quite a project you got yourself into!
Good luck.

WD 40 or Goof off or Goo Gone
Another vote for Goo-Gone. Great stuff!
I use a heat gun to remove stickers. No residue left.

i worked on boats when i was young person , fiberglass and gelcoat repair was what the folks with large wallets paid me to do.
they quite often brought in really plush pleasure craft all marked up from poor boating skills .
Black rubber roller marks were common and acetone and a rag and sometimes some more work with rubbing compound to shine them back to new was the method of the madness to put gas money in my 57 chevy pick up with a small block and a real large appetite due to more than heavy foot i had back in the day :Rofl
