I installed a da ducer mount from Ricky at Podunk Ideas. It deploys like a trolling motor. Very high quality work. I've been very pleased with it.
For me, I wouldn’t use electrical tape due to the moisture aspect. There is a product called Tommy Tape I used on ice fishing rods all the time. It is a self-fusing silicone tape. Great stuff to have in the tool box.Quote:
