This is a good link to bookmark... it has the most current information about which parks / ramps are still open:

It is not a State Park ramp and has been open, i guess, until today
Was this morning, that's the farthest we've gone on Jordan as far as ramp
I drove up to Kerr Lake for some catfish yesterday. It’s open and not that crowded. Also saw that Falls was open yesterday.

As Farrington was the last ramp open on Jordan i'm sure it was a zoo all weekend
So, it is closed or isn't closed? I know it was opened this weekend, but would like to fish Thursday and Friday if possible, but prefer Jordan over Harris
I'm sure the crazies showed up at full force again at Farrington... acting generally the same way they did last weekend. I spoke to one of the US Army Corps guys stationed at Jordan Dam by phone shortly after they closed the parks and all of those boat ramps and stated in no uncertain terms that he completely expected them to close those remaining two boat ramps on Jordan because he didn't expect any change this weekend with regards to public compliance with the Governor's Order. I have a big problem with it when responsible fisherman and and other boaters get cut off because of the noncompliance of a relatively low percentage of idiots.
Our fishing license should be cheaper next go round! On the bright side, will help with next year's crop of crappie. Those out of towners putting a hurting on them won't be here during the spawn
I'm not sure what this is about. Farrington access was open at 2 pm yesterday when I left. The lot was pretty full but still had parking spaces available. NCWRC website does not show Farrington on the closure list this morning. Anybody know if it has been closed overnight?
Big ocean!!!!! 4or 5 toons came in from the northern part of the state and stayed all weekend. They were catching and cleaning everything they caught and packing all their coolers. I think the wardens ended up fining all of the guys, in saying that, I'm sure this was going on before the lake closure! Just like someone talking about the boat tied up at Harris,it happens. Jmo
Update: Just called the wildlife folks for verification about Farrington boat ramp. The lady I talked to on the phone told me that no wildlife ramps on Jordan were closed or planned to be closed at the moment.

Went by farrington@ 6pm an it was open. Maybe 15 vehicles in parking lot. Went to Harris and about 30 in parking lot.
Farrington is open. Live a couple miles from the ramp and just drove through the parking lot...
farrington is open, put in there yesterday went to ebeneezer end and killed them in 9 feet. green and black jigs with minnow
Ok, I did have to confirm for myself. Farrington is open. And a zoo. All of the trailer spots were full and there were people parking in the grass. I sat in the car for a few minutes and watched some bikinis unpack their car... don’t know if I’d feel very good about launching or recovering with that many people crowding the place.
Why is Farrington open with the rest of the lake closed? Is this ramp managed by a separate entity? I don’t really understand why one government organization would leave ramps open and another shuts them down.... seems like that only causes confusion and herds more people into tighter spaces (defeating the purpose of the closers in the first place).

From what i saw at Upper Barton ramp at Falls today I wouldn't be surprised if all NC WRC ramps are closed soon. Parking lot over flowing and Ski boats with 8-10 people per boat and obviously not close family members.
Farrington still open ?, was planning to take my dad fishing in morning. Hour and a half away. If anyone close by or knows would be greatly appreciated.

Yes , it's open . Customer came today about 4:00 pm looking used prop He was there this morning. Hit a log he said in open water on the other side of bridge and ripped one of the blades completely off. We had a used 1, so he's ready to go again. So yes it's open.
Special K ,
Did u catch any ???
Great thanks for update. I will definitely be on the lookout for logs floating. Plus driving slow since it will be so cold in morning.

Thanks for askin'. My brother and I went to finish running the break-in on the new Mercury Pro XS engine and to try the bass for a bit. We caught 4 bass (two of which were about 4 lbs and two about a pound and a half) and 1 hungry grinnel (about 6 1/2 lbs) that made for some drag screaming fun... although it all but destroyed my spinnerbait by the time I finally got him under control and in the landing net. Oh yeah, almost forgot... my brother caught two flathead catfish about 1 1/2 pounds (each) off of a Carolina rigged soft plastic copper colored crawfish. It was fun, but it was nothing compared to what's to come... Lord Willing.
I fished Fearrington Point today. It was a lot windier that I anticipated and the crappie bite was poor, despite the surface temp being 62-65 degrees. My son and I pulled crankbaits for a while with only a small perch to show for our efforts. We pulled into a cove to get a break from the wind and he reeled in a small bass on a spinner.
One thing worth mentioning is that while the ramps are still open, there have been numerous signs installed since last week banning any activities besides launching and recovering boats (fine by me!) I think they are enforcing this pretty aggressively, as I saw a Sheriff’s deputy drive by the ramp as I was unloading. I stopped by about a week ago and the place was packed, so I’m glad to see some common sense used to limit the crowding of the facilities without shutting them down for responsible boaters.
