Awesome. Just ordered a Rockin power. Thank you!
Tict ice cube rockin finesse out of stock :/
So hard to find them in stock.
I have a Rockin’ Finesse as well and decided to buy the Rockin’ Power today as well... should be a neat rod
You buy enough and they’ll start sending you coupons....LOL. I’ve never received any much more than a couple thousand yen.

Those are no doubt some really great deals, but I locked up my debit card! What with the global economy in an uproar, I think this year may see many REALLY good deals pop up more often. Goods need to be sold, and maybe not at the margin a dealer would like. Right now I want to enjoy what I have. That said, if you see something you ABSOLUTELY have to have....LOL

Dang it.. I wanted a spare Rockin' Power, but y'all bought 'em all. Oh well, gotta move fast on these things. Considering an SRAM, but I'm not sure I'll like it as much. Looking at the 6'6" Tubular tip, or the 6'11" solid. Here is a review of the 6'6" - in German.

Wow, good deals, everywhere.
Pulled the trigger on the Tict SRAM 66T! It looked stiff enough to dock-shoot in the video. The guy said "schnell" a lot, which means "fast" in German. It is a heavy jig model (4g max) and per the site is good for deep jigging and is sensitive. It is rated for both mono and PE line on the Tict site. I'm gonna put a Daiwa Ballistic on there. Woot.
I've been trying to figure out how to get the auto translate to work, I don't see the option. Is it only certain videos? Using a phone. Maybe I'll try the PC later.
I don’t think the option is available on phones. I tried to figure it out on my phone too and couldn’t find a translate option. Must be computer only.

Good information, I've been watching lots of japanese fishing videos with no translation [emoji3]
I mainly use my firestick on youtube or phone. I will have to fire up the laptop and check it out.

In my experience you have to watch a lot of Japanese videos to figure out what the English translation means. I’ve gotten fairly well at it but it is still tough. Same with Russian videos. German....French....not so bad. Translating Italian videos is a problem also. But you can learn a lot by watching these. I’ve made a couple of relationships out of Japan and Russia that have a lot of good info.

Well the translation of the German video wasn't much help, still pretty hard to understand. The rod will likely be here next week. Then I can do a review - in English. Appalachian-American English, anyway. :twocents
Well I just ordered a Abu Garcia ERADICATOR REALFINESSE ERFS-69XULT-ST-TZ ... I really tried not to spend any money right now but just couldn't let it get away from me..
I have been eyeing those but not that particular model... good looking rod for sure!
Congrats......that’s a serious blank for a soft rod....

Tried the auto translate on the laptop, works! Still don't know what in the hell they are talking about for the most part, but I'm trying!
My Tict SRAM came today. Looks nice, thin and stiff. Should be an excellent jig rod and dock shooter. I put a Daiwa Regal 2000D on there, best reel out there under $50 IMO. Will try it out tomorrow on Lanier.
Congrats on the new rod. I have been wanting a Tict Ajing rod for years.....but I need another Ajing rod like a hole in the head. Tict a couple of years back quit putting graphite content in the rod model charts. That rod has a graphite content of 99.8 percent. That is going to be one very sensitive rod. You and Scott are the only 2 guys in the world that I know of that will shoot docks with that rod....y’all must have nerves of steel....LOL.

Thanks, Randy, I think this rod is going to be a winner.
About the dock-shooting, I think it is not going to break these rods the way we do it. It isn't necessary to get a huge bend in the rod just pulling a jig from near the first guide to the reel, and the fast tips shoot with enough velocity to get the jig all the way under a long pontoon or deck to where the fish are on the sonar. The biggest head I use is 1/24 oz, mostly 1/32 oz, or Daiwa 1.5 g, so we aren't exceeding the lure weight, nor the line strength. Well, maybe a little on the line, but the drag is set right.
Any stiff rod will shoot a jig. The reason I use a JDM rod for shooting is, after the shot, you never wonder if you just got bit - you automatically yank a hook set as soon as you feel that thump, or loss of weight, or sudden weight, that often happens before you start the retrieve. You will feel more strikes on the drop - you feel everything, and it becomes like a seventh sense. I put more fish in the boat using these rods. Thanks for turning me on to them.
My Yamaga BC and Ice Cube I do not shoot with, those are strictly for casting/jigging. The Yamaga is my go-to trout rod.
Looks like the sale is back on. Rockin power in stock for those interested.

Pretty sure you can read it in English on the Australian Abu-Garcia site.
Awesome, I was able to get in on this sale.
Finetail FAX-632UL and Caldia LT1000S-P for $305 out the door.
