Try the southern pro creekspin. The bream here love the pink head with any bright colored body. They are made like a bass spinnerbait and don't let the jig flop around and get fouled. They are a tiny 1/16 bait, I like the little 1 inch Charlie Brewer Slider grub, seems like anything with pink or chartreuse gets em to bite.

the bluegill are active in texas , congrats my friend on a fine outing
Nice. I was thinking of breaking out my Beetle Spins but thought it might be too early. Maybe not!
Well done. I look forward to getting into some mixed bag sunfish very soon... and I've always loved the roadrunners and beetle spins.
Arkansas company too ... Crappie Specialists :: Southern Pro Tackle
My first spinner I tie on is a trout version rooster tail with a single hook. Fire Tiger. Much more weedless than the other in line spinners. Have a box of roosters, another of beetles, and a bunch of runners. Got the bases covered, methinks.
Recommend changing out to 1/8 jighead, performance check, try adding next size blade if not running true. Little bit of work but easy enuf for gettin' er dun!:ThumbsUp
