I have the acorns floats in all 3 sizes (40, 45 and 55 mm) but like Randy mentioned earlier I also used the 55 mm with both 1.0 and 1.5 jig heads (cultiva JH-84) rigged with TM bodies. These floats are very sensitive and bite detection is great so even small fish can pull them under the water. I highly recommend these but note that you have to untie your hook or jig if you decide to remove the float from your line because you have to thread it through the small rubber sleeve that comes with each float.
Which brings me to my second point: don’t be like me and rush or use excessive force (I.e lack of patience) when trying to remove the float. I was trying to break my light line with my hand after being snagged in the trees and I accidentally pulled the line through the small sleeve and ripped it in half. There you go .... now I have no way to mount that float! Fortunately for me, I had a few extra of the same size ...
