Have anyone tried to make crappie nibble into liquid form? I normally don’t use crappie nibble, but when bobbers fishing and if I’m not lazy I will add nibble here and there. I’m not sure if nibble help me catch more fish but to have some wouldn’t hurt. I know it a lot easier to just buy Slab Sauce (which I will soon) but at this time I have 2-3 jars of nibbles and wanna get rid of these first. Another question, would PowerBait Trout work for crappie? I think I have about 15-20 jars of those.
I have not bought a minnow in over two years because I started using Crappie Nibbles. My results are on par with a good friend who is a minnow dunker/jig combo. Try that power bait too; it'll work too, but then so will Preparation H ! And I am not kidding!!!
have a friend who swears by nibbles, catches a lot of crappie..would think the trout power bait would work also, cant hurt to try.
Thanks, the thing is I want to turn these dough and nibble into liquid so it is easy to spray on.
Couldn’t you just add some water to jar and stir up after they get really soft and make a liquid?
I would think an light oil like a mineral oil and stir/smash stir would liquidfy them...
Personally, I would use them as intended.
When I use crappie nibbles on small jigs the bluegill etc. love them. If you like bluegill I would use the nibbles as is.Quote:

I've been adding water in mine for years especially if I have a jar the nibbles got hard. I added water and made like a paste and dipped both jigs and minnows in it and had success on both. I don't fish without them no matter what I'm usingQuote:

never tried it in liquid form and don't know why you would want to but ,just remember this ….

It will work but only in water! Will not mix with any oils.
Okay I’ve tried it with Berkley Garlic scent that I have laying around for year. It turned into paste with only a few nibbles. I think I’m gonna get Slab Sauce sooner lol.
The reason for me is, I have quite a few of nibble and trout dough. It is easier to spray on instead of putting nibble after every fish caught, the spray (slab sauce) last at least 10-15 casts.
