Route U - Southbound W/ A Question

Seems like every 5 years or so I make this post so, here goes! My wife and I have formally accepted an offer to relocate (again) with my company from Wisconsin to North Carolina! As much as we love it up here (and man, do we love it), we are adventurers who are ready to do it again. We will be very close (~15 miles) from Lake Norman however, after research, will be calling High Rock my "home" lake for crappie.

Question - Has anyone had experience w/ Pro's Choice Marine in Warsaw (good, bad or indifferent). They currently have the Ranger 619FS that I've been looking for but would like some intel from the good folks on CDC who I know will give it to me straight.

There is a 2005 620 VS in the personal ads with a new 250 power unit in the crappie.com personal ads for 36,500. Sounds high but you know what the prices of the boats.

Have not heard anything bad about them. Have never dealt with them. They gotta bunch of Rangers sittin' around, had to expand their lots. Made Johnny Morris smile.

Guys, guys guys...... I will be making every effort to keep our annual MTL Crankfest as is! It's only a ~2 hour drive from Lambert Airport so I'm not worried about that!

we can pick you up and take you to Twain Robbie! LOL mac's got nothing better to do. It's always interesting and challenging to make career moves especially when you can't just drive down to go fishing with your dad for a weekend. but lots of great lakes in that part of the country and I'm sure you will do well. Look at how you prospered up in that frozen part of the country and with all those insufferable Packer and Brewer fans all around.

Who says I can't drive to Twain?!?! Just ask Speck, zero fear of driving through the night if there are fish on the other end! It's just an excuse to make it a longer stay.......I don't suspect I'll be making more or less trips just because I'm a few hours further away. This is, without question, an enormous move in my career to the point where it's a no-brainer for me professionally, and personally, for my wife and girls. An added bonus is that this move expedites my boat purchase....I get giddy thinking about all the new water to explore with a new Ranger 619FS.

I can attest to that. Robbie is a fishing maniac. He and Jeff drove all night to Sardis, fished with me and Yikees all day, cleaned a buttload of fish and still took us out for steak dinners and adult beverages that night. Got up the next morning and fished Enid until noon before driving back home

They are truely Crappieholics and in need of an intervention. Say we all gather at Truman for said event or Mississippi and getrdone. Course we are all just as likely to ketch what they have and have a great time! Guess there is no downside to that.

Guess I will have to start bringing the Spotted Cow down from visiting my daughter in WI.
