About 1924-26 a company from Illinois came out with a really goofy looking painted metal lure.....any guess on what Company it was ? Name of lure ? I will give a hint after awhile.

Ok...Here is a hint...This is a metal lure and its in two pieces joined in the middle by a swivel...It only has 1 single hook attached at the back end of the lure.

Sorry guys, I could not find much info on this one , but it is a very unusual bait.
BuckeyeCrappie was right about the company name , but the bait I was talking about was a different one of theirs.
It was the Paul B. Streich Mfg. Co.out of Joliet, Ill. and the bait I had in mind was the Acro-Bait. A interesting fact was they used the one single hook and had instructions in the lure box to be sure and wet your hands when you handled the fish and that the single hook would injure the fish less and you could release the fish back to catch another day.
