Only one person at a time in each aisle. I don't ever remember going and not finding what I needed. Great place!!!
Wow!!! I'll bet a person could spend a couple of hours looking over all of that tackle... and could spend a couple of hundred bucks pretty easy too.
We all love a well stocked tackle store to be sure. Thanks for sharing.
that's what a tackle store should look like. Do not see them like that around here anymore all went out of business 10-15 yrs ago.
Where's it at??
That defines the meaning of "inventory"
I would have to leave the C cards at home to limit the spending to the cash in my pocket.
I would be like the wife in a shoe store!!
Support them or lose them and it's a shame when one goes away.
That is exactly what I call a tackle shop. I agree with support local.
That’s what I think
Down here in the Crab area we are seeing a changing of the guard. Cooksey's which has been primarily a baitshop is in decline due to aging and illness. Crappie Pro Shop in Carterville changed ownership a couple of years ago and recently moved to a new updated location. Good people and I'm hoping they have a long successful run.
I miss the days of being able to walk into a mom & pop tackle and bait shop. In my home area the last one closed about 15 years ago. Now I prefer to shop online with a family type shop rather than a sports chain store. You know like Pico, Grizzly Jigs, and Southern Crappie.

We lost one here that had been in business since 1955. Broke my heart, but it was family owned and no one to carry on
I stop in @ Mike's at least once a week. Its on my way home, hard to go by without stopping.
For sure. You can spend so much money here.. It is all new fresh inventory too
Yes we had hole in the walls when I was growing up but they were always home, and always open. Jigs in cardboard boxes with orange twisty tails in the next bin. One little string light to illuminate the entire shop. Really miss that
These guys really need our support now more than ever if open
Sadly I just learned that Ron Reede who operated Cookseys Bait on the edge of Crab Orchard passed on April 11 at the age of 75. He was a true character and will be missed by many. RIP Ronnie.
Big Red in Springfield, Stevenson Drive, has never let me down.
