How can crooked, bent,or warped plastic tails be straightened?
Put the baits in a bowl of real warm water, let them soak for a couple of minutes and then lay them out flat and straight on a paper towel til they cool.
I just wish he'd hurry up and reply. I've wasted all morning looking for Delaware water. :Rofl
I’m going to have to try this.

Richard Gene, The Fishin Machine say he uses a cigarette lighter to warm them up and straighten them.
microwave them for a bit and lay them straight before they cool

Ouch, you guys are too sharp for me. I tried to correct this post as fast as possible but you guys are fast!!!
Dang auto correct gets me allot. I grew up in a small town in Virginia that was once proud to call itself "The chemical capital of the South"
We never had a problem with crooked baits. Lots of twisted people though!!! LOL!!!
I toss the baits into boiling water for a minute as the plastic won't melt at that temp but it will allow it to soften and when you get them out lay them flat on a paper towel and allow them to cool and they will be good as new. The plastic melts at over 300 degrees so boiling water softens them up good.
