Prayers for your family as well as Barb. Is she having the anterior hip procedure? If so the recovery time should have her in good shape when the trips arrive. I’ve known several that have had this procedure with stellar results.
Will be praying for Barb and a speedy recovery. Will also lift a prayer for expectant mother’s and a safe and healthy delivery of the new babies.

Thanks everyone, surgery is at 10 am which takes about 2 hours, then 5 -6 hours recovery, then she comes home. I will keep everyone posted.

Thanks for the updates! I am glad that she is doing well and prayers sent for Barb and your expectant daughter.
I will be praying for her. I went through the same thing in 2013. Rehabilitation is the key. Do exactly what they say and there should be no issues afterwards after the healing has had time.

Barb had the newer hip surgery call the super path which is a smaller incision and they don't cut into your muscles or tendons so recovery time is faster. Since it was nice outside today I had her come outside and sit in a chair. Next she was out walking in the street with her walker. Pretty amazing that she is up walking when they cut your bone off and install a new socket. She is just taking Tylenol and advil so the pain really isn't that bad. My legs hurt more than hers because I have to keep getting this or that for her. Thanks for all the prayers.

Just seeing this now, so...Guess I'll say some prayers of thanksgiving, as well as for a speedy recovery for Barb and for the happy, healthy arrival of the three new grandbabies!
