Headed to Houma, La., from NE Oklahoma next week. Looking for somewhere to stop on Friday the 21st, to Crappie fish with a guide along the way. Any recommendations?

Only one I know in Houma is pawpawGene and I'm not sure the water is right there. The rain we have been getting has really messed things up over this way. If you come West, holler at me and I'm sure we could find some water to fish but not guaranteeing any fish!
Contact Jeff Brumfield at Larto Lake. He has a page on facebook called Flaming Hooks Guide Service. I have talked to him several times on the lake. Very nice guy. You will be within 25 miles of him on I49 when you go thru Alexandria. If the fish are biting, he will put you on them.
Things are a mess down here. Too much rain, high water, and plenty of wind. Don't see no relief until maybe the end of next week.

Look up the Crappie Psychic in google. He and his family do crappie trips in the houma area.
Yes indeed, I forgot about Captain Folse. Clyde is a great guide and extremely nice person. I hear the the crappie are biting in his favorite area. Thanks for the reminder.
