line question

Wal-Mart sells Mr. Crappie Hi-Viz (6lb 1500 yards)
Bass Pro sells Crappie Maxx Super Vis (6lb 2040 yards)

Other than the yards of line, is there any difference between the 2, or is one better than the other...???

I like em both for the price only problem I’ve seen is they retain a lot of memory I think vicious has lower memory IMO

Look into BPS offshore angler tight lines brand. Been using it for years and like it better than any other, hi vis and doesn’t cost your first born child.

Both are fair lines, but, they have problems down the road. Memory, knot strength and Etc.

Your on the right track by buying the big spools. You will be respooling often. Memory is terrible. Just my opinion !

Slime line is pretty good most of the time . it seems to break off a lot after I let it sit on rods a while though .
but I have a tendency to abuse equipment and leave the rods in my truck 24 7 in whatever weather might occur .
its memory issues are less than mr crapie in my opinion and I have not tried the other brand so I have no clue on it .
I have posted before about cheap lines though and the 6 lb clear omniflex gets the job done well for not much greenery .

Yep Ketchn, I bought some of that clear line too, only problem I got, my eyes can't see it till I hold it up against the sky...:banghead
