Orville had hip replacement surgery yesterday down in Alabama. He is now home and doing very well. Ready to go spring fishing. Praying that he has a complete and speedy recovery and finally relief from all the pain he has had for years.

I just got word Tuesday that a total hip replacement is in my near future. My options weren't all I wanted to hear so getting thru the current fishing season with the pain while I lose a considerable amount of weight are what I have to look forward to short-term.
My prayers sent for a full recovery and more comfort when it all straightens out.

Best thing I ever did other than both knee replacements. I did both hips 3 months apart last year after the knees. Should have done it decades earlier. Knees were a bit tough but hips were a walk in the park (excuse the pun). I can walk, fish, and enjoy life without constant pain. Yes, I am 72.Quote:
