Motel

Anyone know a motel near the 64 bridge? Coming down in March just wondering about bait and motel?

There's some in Siler City and several around Cary. Some of the guys that live up there could probably give you a better idea. There are a couple of bait stores right there where you turn to go to Farrington or Ebeneezer.

Some on rt 1. I would search Apex, NC. On the map. There are two bait stores right near the 64 Bridge.

No motels real close but there are campgrounds on the lake

couple in apex on rt55, expect 80 to 100 per night

Hank22, there are a couple bed and breakfast places in Pittsboro. Wilsonville store, Cruisers & Valero gas stations all have Minnows just minutes from 64 bridge. Hope this helps and good luck fishing!

I'd suggest some of the Creeks instead of the 64 bridge.

In March I’d look in any of the creeks they all have fish, if ya need help look up Sinclair’s guide service, he’ll hook ya up that time of the year

Hank22, I think Siler City , would be your best bet. Apex and Cary traffic is a nightmare. So I would avoid those. Siler City has everything you need. As far as minnows like said not far from landings.

You can pick up 64 in Lexington.

When I get there , let us know.

Hank22, it just all depends on lake level & water temp. I personally will be on the main creek mouths that time of year

The Americas Best Inn or whatever they call it ( used to be Days Inn ) in Siler City has an outside plug to charge your boat. That's where I stayed 95% of the time. Never had anyone bother my stuff either.
