Caught 16 this morning. Not a single keeper at gold creek. There was plenty of other boats in there and a few really rude people. Could have easily gotten in a fight lol

You almost have to have a “buddha” frame of mind to fish there. I do best there at night. During daylight I avoid the bridge and fish tops no one else is fishing

They literally were casting jobs one way and threw bobbers up under the bridge with minnows and blocked me out. Every time I moved they threw it closer trying to block me from getting in there. I had to come to work anyways so I left it alone. I nearly cranked my big motor up and washed em out [emoji28]

Certain places I avoid like there and Lucky Landing at Atkins most of the time .:popcorn
I fish in there some and there are are a few guys like that that for sure. I’ll respect your distance if you respect mine. If you try and take up half the cove with corks thrown in all directions and especially throw em in front of my current travel path. I’ll push my rod tips right up on em, lift my lines over and keep fishing.
I would go somewhere else but I don't know where to go. Im taking my daughter Friday and wish I could take her somewhere else and actually catch a few keepers

Etiquette and Ethics don't really go hand in hand with many of the folks you run up on there and other places. Some of them that live on the lake basically think they are "entitled." I ran in to this at the bridge and the cove a few years back and I haven't been back since. My Dad taught me to respect fellow fisherman over 40 years ago and sadly the majority never got this from their elders and a lot of good fisherman are this way. We all have had people sit and wait for us to move off a pile which is fine, but dont troll by me so close that I can see you didnt brush your teeth that morning. Some folks dont get how easy some fish groups are spooked and there is a reason Im fishing 40 feet back off a pile, so please dont cross where Im casting....I wont do it to you. Then when that guy makes his second trip side scanning under you only 20 feet off your boat to see what youre going after and you call him out, doesnt he squeal like a stuck pig. A lot of people are just that
I dont go near other boats unless Im following them down the same bank, and even then I stay a good 50 yards off.
Theres alot of people in there so lots of pressure, but there should be just a little respect. I wont be so nice next time that's for sure. Sent from my SM-G973U using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
It did not used to be that way up there a few years ago, But the damage is done now, social media and word of mouth has all but ruined fishing there. If you are catching fish you can fully expect that people will move in on you if they aint catching fish. I spider rig fish and more than once this year I have had my rods wrapped up by someone casting on my rod tips in front of me, I have had boats drift into my rod tip and I would have to remove them from the rack so they did not get broke. Then say something to them and they act like I was at fault and get all pissed off. I had one guy bump my boat twice in one day. I fish short because I dont cast. I could rant and rave about this all day.
Yep today I had my wife and daughter fishing with minnows in front of a dock. Dude pulled up in between the dock and our corks and started jigging under the same freaking dock, like bro do you not see us here WTF.Sent from my SM-G973U using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
Saw y’all out there... how’d you do? Bite seemed to die about 930.
I went in the pond part yesterday and if I remember correctly there were 13 boats plus me from the walking bridge to the back of the pond. It didn't take long and I was out of there. Just trying to run the gauntlet under the walking bridge to get into the pond was a challenge. I never heard any arguments even though I saw several boats fishing what I would think was the same small brush pile.
Yeah you gotta be out there at day light to catch a mess. They slow way down. Catch a good one about every 30 min after that. Sent from my SM-G973U using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
