I have sunk a couple . Looks like they would not hang easy .
I have never added them myself but I have fished a sunken plastic chair I assume the wind blew in. Maybe your friend did instead
Fine line between pvc, plastic chairs and trash imo. If that was all I had I guess I would do it and it would work. The COE lakes here are drawn down in winter and even well made pvc structure gets to looking trashy.
We got to building Crappie Condos out of disposed vegetable trays picked up at grocery stores . They float so when weighted on bottom they stand up

jesus i cant imagine how many jigs would be lost in that thing after a couple years.
plastic lawn chairs work pretty good , i have jigged over a few myself .
Extra Large Plastic Shrub/Tree Pots zipped tied together works well and easy to hang under floating docks with weed eater string.
lol I’m thinking the same thing.
you see things on trash day and not a bad idea. sinking something is better than open water.
I’m going to make some with auto body scrap plastic and fiberglass. I’ll post pictures. If these look good I’ll start collecting from a couple of body shops.
Lots of them get blown into the water from docks all the time. Fished around a lot of that plastic outdoor furniture
yeah that looks like a real JIG MAGNET to me lol
great minds think alike...

Good looking stuff there
Nice but I can imagine the snags.
What did use to
Secure them
Together
Plastic chair question. I have collected several. Do they need weight to keep them in place. I was going to use something to anchor them but now I’m thinking it would be a waste of time.
I have caught fish around the ones blown off of docks. I have also snagged a few and pulled them to the surface.
