The Sowbug and the Root Beer Float have been deadly for me last several trips out. Tip them with any kind of Nibble, Waxie, or wiggler piece of scented bait and hold on!
Hard to beat.
+1 on TMs. Just an incredible bait. Also, don’t forget the Bison color.

Awesome kit
I can’t catch a fish on them [emoji1745]

Last spring 1st time using trout magnets and tipped with a chartreuse nibble I was using a bobber near a rocky dam and I caught gills, cats, drum, bass, green sunfish. Was using a pink/white body - after catching several the body got shredded and replaced with the same color and continued catching.

Like Stan said the Rootbeer and Sowbug are top notch... haven’t done any good with the Blue Dunn yet (I believe that’s the name..)
Hard to beat Bison too!

I don’t know of any lure that is great on so many different specie. I can go from catching trout all day to Gills......Smallies......crappie....shell cracker.....KY bass. It is the first lure I start out with and 95 percent of the time it is the lure tied on at the end of the day. It loses its action real quick if used with a jig head over 2 grams. Using light line is a must also.

I have a lot of success with them and the crappie magnet is my number one bait I fish the trout magnet when the bite gets slow and they want that smaller profile. Pretty much the only two baits I carry anymore. And for the trout streams around here they are killer

We are killing the Trout with them right now in MDC urban fishing program around STL metro area. Are great for crappie and BG as well and occasional Green carp.
I’ve tried them for trout in Arkansas under a float, zip.
I’ve tried them around home on gills and crackers under a float, zip.
I haven’t tipped with anything though.

How do you cast those little light weight things with no float?

Light line. See here:

Ok well I’ve been using 4# test. I switched to 2# back in the fall but have only been trout fishing once since then , and I only threw crank baits that trip. I’m using a 6’6” Lews Wally Marshall dock shooting rod and I don’t remember what spinning reel.

I ordered 50pcs in 4 different flavors. To go with my new passion of going small.

Nice pics. Like your bait box setup.

I like those 2 in the bottom right. I have the Panfish Magnet kit and love it. Have caught crappie, bluegill, red ear, greenies, and largemouth on them. I may have to get a filler pack of each of those colors now!!

The color “gainer” which is mealworm/orange is a fun one for panfish as well
I have the same kit and love it. I've caught crappie, bass, and all sorts of sunfish with it. The jighead will never leave my ultra light.
