Crazy down here also . Strange hearing tree frogs while sitting in the deer stand and March storms in January .
It was 77 here yesterday but 44 today. LOL. Still praying for those in the SE that had such a rough time yesterday morning.
Got purdy ruff here around 2pm yesterday. Thank God no damage here.
I totally agree that the weather has been crazy. We were lucky here in North Carolina... since the storm front that spawned multiple tornadoes for so many, pretty much dissipated before it reached us. We still had some moderate wind and rain... but very little storm activity. The temps here have been in the upper 60's and low 70's with some humidity and plenty of wind most days. I have thought several times about going somewhere and doing a little bank fishing. Here in North Carolina, we have always said,
"If you don't like the weather... just wait a day and it will very likely flip flop completely."
It's wild for sure,
Was 65 on Friday, some pretty wicked storms rolled through that night. A couple homes were lost a few miles away.
Temps dropped like a rock yesterday, I think the high was 30 in the morning. Got 2 inches of snow during the day. Warming up nice now though.
Figured I'd cast a few and sure enough caught a small bass. Temperature will drop down to 29 tonight and be only in the low 40's tomorrow. Crazy weather to be sure especially with the hard rain last night and wind gusts of 25mph.
Been crazy warm till this week but then this is Arkansas .
Didn't feel much like Spring on the water here today. I wore all the cold weather gear I own, We even had snow flurries for 5 minutes yesterday morning. ")
I hear ya.. here in Fl it's been mid 80's the past few days and will be mid 80's all week, way above normal.. sad when you have to run the A/C in January
Been waiting on that polar vortex to put a few inches of ice on the lakes but it may not happen this year.
Houston has been in the 70s for days and the water is pushing in to the 60s in the afternoon. With the full moon we just had I'm betting the are fish already on beds or on the look for sure. My buddy was bass fishing on Rayburn yesterday already seeing beds.
-2 at noon today -20 tonight high of -5 to tomorrow....springlike not so much...But making ice:ThumbsUp:ThumbsUp:ThumbsUp for sure...
It's been the same way in SE Tn. I saw a weather report today, our fun is over- next week 30's & 20's for a week or to. OH WELL!:dono
ran my ac and worked up a sweat putting bamboo out yesterday
