Wouldn't it be cheaper to put line counter reels on them ?? I assume that since you got "power trollers" that you intend to Push cranks, right ?? :dono Line counter reels take all the guesswork out of how much line to let out to get your bait/weight down to the desired depth.
Smallest line counter reels are 15's (Okuma Magda 15 & Shakespeare ATS 15 are what I use) And yes, they are "bigger" than your average baitcast reel .... like 1.25 times bigger than the average round baitcast reel & close to 1.5 times bigger than the average low profile baitcast reel. (just an estimate vs the round & low profile baitcast reels I have, and they're all "ancient" so I don't know about the size difference vs the newer models)
I use the Crappie Max spinning reels on my BnM Pow R Trolling rods. They are about 20 bucks at Bass Pro shop.....no need for line counters not trolling any deeper than my rod length. I power troll jigs...jigs and minnows...and road runners.
For pushing and pulling cranks I use BnM Pro Trollers with line counter reels. For spider rigging I use BnM Capps and Colman rides with low profile baitcasters with thumb bars.
Troy, call grizzly jig. They had some pretty nice abugarcia thumb bar reels on Christmas sale. I keep a pretty close eye on what’s for sale cheap and that was best deal I have seen in awhile. I personally use baitcasters for everything but longlining jigs then I switch to spinning. I do use line counters for pulling cranks.
I use casting reels, and use my rod length for pushing depth, I use a weight system for long lining. I do not like big casting reels, or big spinning reels.
Just picked up some of the new Shimano line counters. Very low profile, just like a palm size bait caster. Bit pricey but very nice.

I use Shakespeare Agility bait casters. Walmart sells them for about $25-$27. I recently picked up (8) new in package from a wholesaler for $20 a piece. It would take a little looking but you can often find'em on eBay for $15-$20. There are a couple guys on Ebay who sell them refurbished for $20.
I also use Ryobi Mag 3 bait cast reels...though they are not a thumb bar. These reels have not been made for several years so Ebay is the only place. I like these reels because they are a "mini" bait caster...about 3/4 size of a modern low profile reel.
I use the Shakespeare Agility reels also. Nice small size thumbar reels.
