I want to see water clarity , I know she gets muddy on haw side , so thinking we'll go right. New hope side and work deep point on the right just below Mason's reef.
I don't know if water clears quick at 64 bridge.
I'm used to fishing big waters in Louisiana muddy on 1 end, wait a day and it flips. I don't know Jordan , that good , does water overturn quick.
sat 8am Jordan has come up 1foot overnight. As long as it is rising you can look for muddy water to back up through the "S" curves toward the 64 bridge. Once it starts dropping it will clear fast. We had a lot of rain in Fayetteville area also so the corp may hold water in Jordan a couple of days to see what the Cape Fear is doing down stream.
Hey all , didn't think wind would be a problem , 13-19 mph. now, wind is going to slow a little then be picking up again
Up to 12-15 so we going to try Mon .
Jordan at 218.20 and still rising. Not bad for fishing but will probably be muddy on dam end.
Sea dancer, it'll pprobably be muddy on upper end to right ? What about Harris does she get muddy ?
Harris does not get muddy very often
Went to Jordan on Thursday. The wind was horrible. Started out with about 25 boats around 64 bridge and ended up with two. The bigger fish seemed to have moved out. I didn’t see anybody land one much over a pound and I only managed a couple over a pound. Caught a lot of small ones. Maybe they have moved down further towards the dam now. I didn’t mark a lot of bait fish either. Also fished the left side towards Seaforth ramp.

Going to Harris. Tomorrow it's a done deal.
Tomorrow . About 10:00
Went to Jordan today. Put in at Poe's ramp , water was muddy on haw river side , not so much on new hope side until wind got up. Caught one 12" , moved up to horseshoe islands to get out of wind, s-curve around island (big) 27 fow was stacked full of bait fish around 10-12 ft. and I mean stacked. Pulled out 2 dinks, then I hooked a 14 " and that was it. Called it a day.
fish may be confused. Water temp is too high for this time of year but the daylight hours tell them it is not time. They will settle down when it turns cold. I am looking at Friday. Looks like a nice day and the Bio charts say it will be good around mid day.
