Can't wait to ask them when we can start electrofishing! :yikes :bash :dono
Lets go and ask for more fish attractors. The ones they put down a couple years ago are finally holding fish.
And maybe we ask if permits can be obtained to put down our own!
For a FEE they will consider your application.
I investigated that possibility several years ago and was informed that the permit application was $750..00 there was no guarantee that it would be accepted. Another hiccup was that the GPS coordinates had to be recorded and a fish attractor bouy must be placed over the attractor and MAINTAINED by the person who installed it.
Fee for purchasing marker bouy, in the neighbor hood of over $100.00.
They make it almost impossible to LEGALLY install (place) attractors. Much more restrictions than noted.
Guberment! $750 plus $100 to sink a tree, wow. Let’s just see if we can get them to do it with our tax dollars. Doh

Midnight rider:biggrin:witching:highfive
Wonder why they plan it during the week, during business hours. Probably to be able to state a lack of interest. I will try and make it.
I agree the biologists are great, its the ones above hoarding the $$$$ that are azzhats.

Keep in mind all u crappie people that in all my meetings with county commissioners and the harris council I have complained about the crappie decline in the last 10 to 12 years. I have pounded the drums to the county about dredging all canals to get back to sand to get the crappie back in them for breeding and to increase our tourist fishing once again . So far the county commission is onboard. A complete do over for the harris chain.I have been ad u know working on this for over a year. We have lost our tourist to fishing monroe crescent etc. Aside from a new advisary council to the commission, a new advisary council I personally also am working on is independent fisherman on each lake with years of experience to gather every couple months to put in their first hand on the water opinions. I need all of our members to help promote this. Slab. Daryl cole and wife have agreed to sit on this committee and I'm looking for a few more experienced fisherman from different lakes. Harris ,dora

Don't forget, this is tonight. Shu, Billbob and I will be going. Not exactly sure what time we'll be there (prolly about 5ish would be my guess), but we're going.
Gonna suggest more fish attractors, and less spraying. Bring your other ideas to share.
