Oh Yeh !
Thats a bag of magic
I think he fishes that like 99% of the time doesn’t he? Must work pretty dang good!
Yep....that's all you need
So many people buy into colors and shapes of jigs . My opinion it is more finding fish and presentation . Fish with what you have confidence in . I think bait makers promote a zillion shapes and colors to sell more baits .:twocents Most guys I fish with are believers and used to carry large suit cases of baits . Most of them now carry (NIMROD tackle box ) '' baggie with NIMROD specials '' Umbrella Tubes in purple/chartreuse pre rigged with Timmy Tom insert 1/8 oz jig heads '' ) :fish

Just got back from my maiden voyage with purple/chartreuse southern pro umbrella jogs. Three hours fishing on an old oxbow lake.... an hour and a half on Fourche River. Zero bites. Zero fish. I must be doing something wrong...

You need brush piles logs things that are holding crappie. You must have the bait above the fish and jig it softly. Are you seeing fish. Do some scouting of the area your fishing for brush piles and logs mark them.
Go to the Oklahoma page and watch the video of livescope the river fishing. :ThumbsUp:ThumbsUp
I can’t find those insert heads on Timmy Tom website. NIMROD, do you order them online or just call them and ask for a 1/8th insert head? And can’t you just slide a regular 1/8 ball head inside and pole the eye through the jig?
I ordered heads from Tommy Tim, but I specified sickle hooks. I’m not sure if that’s Nimrod’s preference or not?

I ordered more 1/8oz jigs last week with # 1 hook, Tim called me he was feeling under the weather said my order would be here next week. I asked him how he got the name Timmy Tom, he said he was at work when much younger and a older gent needed help and called hey Timmy Tom come and help me, so later in life he opened this company and named it Timmy Toms. Great guy to talk with. 1/8oz teardrop jig heads.
