Me and Marshall went back up to the camp on the north end of Black Lake this past weekend.
Nothing like listening to LSU on the radio blow out Ok while catching slabs!!

Well done guys. The only thing that was missin' was a thermos full of hot soup, stew, chowder, gumbo or chili to help knock the edge off of the cool and the dampness.

Thanks Special K... we didn't have any in the boat with us but we did put some deer stew meat with potatoes and veggies in the slow cooker that morning before we left so when we got back we had a hot stew waiting us

That's one of my rice bran feeders they seem to get real photogentic with their nose full of powder. The only problem I have is being there when they show up.

Ol' Cajun Dave just let me know when you want to go! You might want to wait a little while though, the water is on a steady rise with all this rain we've been getting but as soon as it levels out and starts to fall it'll be back on!
