Now for. the rest of the story. My wife was joking about buying a white truck to pull the new boat with. While looking to add a back up camera to our 2001 Suburban she saw a red pickup that she thought really looked great so this is what she bought.

She's a keeper! Reminds me of when we were looking for a used camper and went to look at one. The guy's wife went to Memphis with some girl friends and saw a new camper she liked so she bought it. She needed a way to get it home so she went and bought a new Suburban to bring it home.

6.2 liter :ThumbsUp, I bought the same truck with the 5.3 and like it too RST Ltz dble cab. Do you know if its a 10 spd or 8 transmission? the 8 spds are something to get used to.
Yep it was her money.
It is a 10 speed transmission. The only way you know that it shifts is to watch the tac. On a trip last fall we got over 20 mpg. At one place we came back to the truck and found this guy taking pictures of it. He was from France and they don't have anything like it in France.
She is a keeper, that's a nice truck too!

My wife is tight with money. She will drive a car 'til the wheels fall off.
We sold our 1999 Nissan Quest when we bought the truck. But it still had the wheels on it. We had the Quest for 20 years. Still have a 2001 Suburban. My wife plans on driving the Silverado for as long as she can drive. I think we get our moneys worth out of a vehicle.
