Got another Garmin 93 sv for the pontoon so I can swap live scope between boats.

With grankids we don't do a lot of gifting to each other. From a practical standpoint we gave each other a new toaster oven, that's pretty sad isn't it?
On a brighter note my new neighbor had told me he used to tournament fish. He saw me outside and told me to come over, he had something for me.
He took me to a table filled with fishing rods and told me to pick out a few.
These were high dollar rods like Falcon, Lews, etc so I just looked. He realized I wasn't comfortable taking one so he said since I jigged spoons to try this one.
He said the company went out of business so it was no longer made. It had never been used he said.
It was made by Cape Fear Rods in NC and it is incredibly light but with a fast tip and plenty of strength to handle a larger fish. It has a hexagonal shaft which I had only seen on the nicer fly rods.
Anyway I can't wait to try it out.

Just put a new29 series trolling battery in the boat and just put a new Redfield scope on one of my crossbows. I'm happy!;)
New to me boat, decided against fixing my boat up when I found this one that needed a motor transplant. Nothing fancy went from a 94 to 02 but better than what I had and I am pleased with it. Did a few electronic upgrades as well, now ready to put some fish in it.
