I'm looking for a alternative to the livescope. I think they are awesome just a little out of my price range. The majority of my crappie fishing is done off a dock so I'm vertical jigging bush piles. My budget is around 600 I have been looking at the Aqua Vu HD7i but my home lake is typically murky so I'm wondering if something like that would be a waste of money. Thanks for your help I'm new to crappie fishing so any help you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks!
Although Live Scope is nice, it is not a camera.
If your mainly fishing from a dock you are really limited. Perhaps save your money towards a kayak or something similar that you can outfit over time.
Sorry but there is no good cheaper alternative to Livescope anywhere that I know of.

LOL thanks guys I appreciate all the responses. Not really what I was looking for. I have a boat, fish finder etc. and Im a member of a private dock where my boat stays. Respectfully I know the cost. What I'm looking for is something to quickly scan brush as I walk down the slip. Thanks again.
Panoptics with a ps22 transducer the predecessor of Livescope, I've been using one in the boat and ice fishing for 3 years...it works very good, good enough that I'm not going to buy a live scope anytime soon....cheaper too.

Get the aqua vu. Vision might be limited to 5ft in really murky water but that’s enough if all you’re fishing is docks. You don’t need to see any farther than that. I use mine on docks and icefishing.
During a visit to Reelfoot Lake I saw a boat in a parking lot which had two transducers on the trolling motor. One in the normal position on the bottom of the motor unit, and one on the shaft just above the motor unit. The upper transducer was pointed straight ahead, not down. He had made his own mount with a clamp to go around the trolling motor shaft. I waited until the owner came out of the restaurant and asked about the setup. He said he likes to fish the many stumps in Reelfoot and he had a seperate 2D unit that let him look straight ahead when approaching the stump.
Not exactly a Live Scope or Mega 360 but a lot more info than with just a "regular" FF/DF.
