FAIL

my last 2 visits to the water on 2 separate lakes produced only 2 crappie at each spot .:yikes
yesterdays fish were so small i was about positive they were bream bites .
any time your jig eyes are as big as the crappie eyes you know they small .
AND no amount of camera angle trickery or angles helps .rotfl
but in the end were these visits a classic FAIL ?
many would say yes and i wasn't exactly pleased with either trip .
but in the end I learned something from each spot .
that was this , i wouldn't know if I didn't go . :Rofl

I'm just happy to not be skunked. Everything beyond that is bonus!

And to get a prized Blacknosed had to be worth it.

Easy solution. Before your 3rd trip out, drive out to Alabama, throw Richard Gene into your truck and take him fishing with ya. Go fishing, cause it good fur ya!

Just being on the water fishing is worthwhile, catching is a bonus. :fish:woohoo

All my fishing is really casting practice.

Every trip out on the water is a good one regardless of the take. Good job. :)

It depends on if you remember it not. I have to make myself log my miss days. It's as important as the hit days or more so.

I’ve had days like that. Days when anything to take a picture of is a plus. I’ve had days when I had a LOT of fish across the gunnel, you wouldn’t believe the number, and was hard pressed to find any big enough for a sammich. But like you said, I learned at an almost exponential rate while I fished that place. As you also said, I wouldn’t know if I didn’t go. Ain’t fishin great?
