Made my first Fall trip to upper Flint. Fished from 9 to 2. I looked fairly shallow to start no dice there. Caught most of these on minnows and nuetral jigs. Mostly fishing a pendulum approach with light weight. Most fish were caught 8-10 deep in 10-12 fow and kinda on the slopes on the fall. 24 solid fish made the trip home.Attachment 359767

Very nice haul. I fish that section quite a bit but havent been able to locate them the last couple trips. Good to know they are there i just have to find them.

Busiest day I've had so far ever. Promised my self off the water at 2 to be home when the kids got in from school. It was tough to roll up my pole and not catch the few fish for my first ever single limit. Maybe next time. Thanks for the kind words.

Ole Catch n Grease has been known to stretch a fabrication a time or two, so today he and I are going back to Flint. Somebody's got to keep him honest. We took home 20 nice ones from the canal at Limestone yesterday, but neither of us is smart enough to use a camera and document our catch. Wish us luck; he's been known to jump in the water after a crappie.

I took home 10, but we caught a bunch of smaller ones and some stripe. CatchnGrease actually threw back what had to be a 2-1/2 pounder. I couldn't believe it. It was a beautiful day, gorgeous scenery. A great day fishing.
Of the 10 that went in the box 2 of them were mine 5:1 ratio. Bites were fairly constant but just not a a lot of commitment on the fishes part. We had a few missed fish but overall the day was great and the friendship was better.
