Hint......This lure like I said it only has one treble hook. The treble hook is inside of a plastic grass skirt.
No...Hula Poppers have two treble hooks .....The bait I am talking about just has one...and its on the back and it is inside of the skirt.

Well......silverside nailed it.
It was the Paddle Popper Lure made by GI GI Lure Company of Fort Worth, Texas. This company was owned by Galen Gilbert. This lure had two arms which end in small plungers that make a popping sound as they rotate.
I hope you enjoyed todays Trivia...I know I did. See you next Monday morning.
