OK, who's gonna get after them in the morning?
Who's sleeping in?
And who's tailgating?
I'll fish for a few hours like 8 till 1 then pile up at the house for some "football yeah!"

They’ll be jumping out of the waters trying to get in da boat widtch ya in morning !
I was actually thinking about getting out there. But, I don’t have clue if they will be biting or where they will be located. All I know is it’s the first free Saturday I’ve had in a long, long time. Hate to spend the first part of it on the couch. Now, come kickoff... it’s a different story. Roll Tide!

Have Slab and G sauce and will travel to the lake tomorrow
Just dug out my big boy britches for the early morning hours now if I can just man up and talk this big boy into getting into them with it being 27-28° I just might give em whirl !
I’m dressed and ready. Will be putting the boat in, in about 30 minutes. Heck with a ball game I got fishing to do
Anybody do any good? I caught several small ones on Guntersville about 10ft deep in 18ft of water. Couldn’t get jigs to work, so I cheated and went with minnows. Seems like the bite was real lite. It turned out to be a beautiful day. The football game didn’t quite go as planned, though...

Things didn't go as planned. I didn't get the boat in the water. Hopefully I can get it wet tomorrow
Didn’t get to make it! Rode the X mark most the day! But I’m all caught up now!
I made the adventure out and found mine deep still in 15-18 foot. Kept 16 for the guys on the causeway.

I watched the game but no need for a boat. They are tearin em up on the banks at Guntersville. The locals will crowd it about 4am so be ready for that. And God forbid you take a boat. Some of them will curse you out if you fish under the bridges. They act like they own the lake. But good luck.

Bad game! Oh well
Well, I got on the river about 10am. Water was 69* and stained. All the sloughs are dingy. Saw some shad activity but not much. Sidescan and 2D showed fish holding to bottom and some just off bottom. Saw bait balls here and there. I had one good bite and it was a gar. I thought about we're on a full moon and that was the coldest morning we have had so far. Bluebird skies and dirty water. I wish I had fished tree tops out on the river now.
Went Sunday am for a quick run caught alot of drinks, and a couple nice slabbiesAttachment 359610
