Another Warrior gone

We lost another great Warrior from the Greatest Generation Russel Jones.
From the sands North Africa to the backside 0f the beaches of Normandy through Anzio Italy to the frigid nights in Bostogne Belgium. After weeks of conflict General Patton made a push and saved my pal Russ and his brothers. This was one of the last major battles of WWII which was called Battle of the Bulge. Next step was Germany, the end of WWII was in sight. I am very proud to have known him and call him my friend even for 17 short years. I say that cause it was a very small portion of his 96 years, we are thankful for men like him.

Gone but not forgotten

Amen to a fallen warrior.

God bless him and his family and may we never forget about his service to what our country is supposed to represent.

We will not forget the great men and women fighting for our way of life, he will be blessed for sure.

My prayers will join the many offered for your friend Ted. Sorry to hear of the loss of a friend. I respect those I have as they are not easy to come by. I’ll also offer prayers for the family and his other friends, at 96 years I’m sure that he had many. I would have considered it a privilege to share a table and listen to him talk of his life, must have seen some amazing things most folks never consider. God Bless him and all our warriors.

May he Rest In Peace god watch over and comfort his family. We are loosing some of the greatest men this country has ever seen. The men of that generation are true American hero’s.

our great country has been free due to the service of men like him , I tip my hat to any and all that have served our country .
I did not know this man but he sounds legendary to me and my condolences to his friends and family

Another HERO gone from our midst...Another ANGEL went home...We give our condolences to the family for your loss...But rest assured ALL of our HEROES who have departed this Land, are waiting for us up in Glory, THE Promised LAND, AMEN!!!!
