For Friday night I will bring chicken and sausage sauce piquant and potato salad.

There will definitely be an oven available. It’s a commercial type kitchen.

I will bring coffee, big coffee pot and the fixings, also will bring a two burner stove, cast iron pots, and oil along with a tent for outside . i will bring a smoked brisket and baked beans for Friday night.

I just finished making a batch of venison jalapeno summer sausage. I'll bring that and some amish made horseradish cheese. Also bringing some bags of Courageous Coffee for the prize table. Any interest in fresh squeezed Michigan apple cider? I'll bring some if you want it.

You guys brought some apple cider last year that was great so I say YES, Bring some cider!!!

I'll bring some desserts for Friday and Saturday. Couple of cobblers and a couple of pecan pies.

Michigan is known for apples and cherries.
Since the geese aren’t cooperating I won’t be bringing goose sausage sticks,so.......
The local orchard makes pies from their trees, I will be bringing apple and red cherry pies from Michigan fruit grown locally.

Red bean and rice with plenty of sausage for Friday. Cole slaw for Saturday. Desserts for each night. Chocolate sheet cake one night and the dessert that only lasted about 10 minutes last year.

Hey folks I will be bringing a smoked pork butt and some atomic buffalo turds “ what is this you say” well you will have to wait patiently!!! All this for Friday and I can bring a Cajun fryer to help with fish Saturday just let me know if this would help can’t wait to meet all you folks!

I have 3 quart baggies of jowl meat and jelly roll I'll bring. The jelly roll is like the tenderloin of a deer. I cut most of it into about 1/2" steaks for grilling but it can be diced up for frying.

We had some year before last made by some folks from FL that we met while snowbirding in Savannah. Then we had some in TX last winter. Both were good, but it seemed like how it was prepared made the difference. I always understood Cajuns from LA do it best.

Gator can be the best OR worst meat you eat, depending MOSTLY on how it is cleaned! How it is cooked also matters but the cleaning is essential to making it taste good! If they leave ANY of the white fat on it, it will taste HORRIBLE once cooked!

A change of mind of the food supply. Since it's such a far ride for us and we're staying at the hotel where we won't have a kitchen we've decided not to do jambalaya, instead we will supply many bags of chip and dip for the game Saturday afternoon. I hope that works.

Don't know if it has been talked about, but, what time should we have our food ready to eat on Friday and Saturday nites....I know "old" folks like to eat early and young'uns later....wonder what group I fall in....

Still deciding what I will bring....probably chicken pot pie(Friday nite), croissant rolls (2 nites), fried pork skins(ball game), sliced cheese mini squares (variety), caesar salad(Sat. nite), broiled chicken thighs(? nite).....

Wife WILL most likely come with me....staying at the Motel....arriving Friday around 2....

Looking forward to seeing you guys again....

How about we decide on a time for saturday while we eat friday. Some of the michigan group might would appreciate an earlier saturday. They leave early sunday.

I’m sure Sparty will be along to clarify, but I believe we are staying Sunday and leaving Monday. My boss gave me time off to stay as long as the rest of the Michiganders are......

Bags are packed, GoPro camera batteries are fully charged, new Crappie rods are stored and pies get picked up this morning.....I am ready whenever the Michigan convoy picks me up

I have a half gallon of maple syrup I will try to get to the group camp sometime Thursday evening , so you all can have some good pancakes if you want :)
also I will be bringing 6-7 bags of walleye fillets for the fish fry.
