Material is large Palmer Chenille.
The pink one has a small pinch of bucktail in the middle and wrapped with the palmer chenille from the hook point forward. It is very full
The green one is just palmer chenille wrapped from about the mid point forward.
The material is very fine a wispy
Looks good. Now that I have found a fly tying shop locally, I can actually see these materials in hand instead of just in pics. Th person in the shop also fishes for crappies and was very informative on places around here I didn't know about, as well as what was working right then. Thank you for sharing your Palmer chenille jigs. They look great...
They need some tuning. Tied them quickly to show the material

I ran across this material after this thread started. I picked up the two colors and tied a few. That being said I have not fished them. The Chartreuse should work fine. The pink one is way to full. To the point of interfering with the hook . I need to order some of the material in a light to medium gray. I believe a gray ghost pattern out of this would be hard to beat.
Ha....lol. I just looked this material up and I actually have some of this already. I have a baitfish color and chartreuse if I remember correctly. Actually bought it not sure what it was but thought it would work for sort of a flash tail. I will try to post a pic this evening. Actually it is listed where I purchased it as baitfish flash. Same thing? :dono
