I know I'm prolly not on the right forum but thought you folks would enjoy this. Went to a lake up here for 3 days, days one and two gave me over 2 inches of rain each day, then the rain stopped. Oh glee, sunny, 92 degrees and high dew point. The fun part was that the fish I did manage to catch were on jigs I learned to tie here at CDC. Thank you all for your help.
There is something special about catching fish on jigs you tied yourself. Congratulations
I’ve seen your work Grumpy, so there’s no wonder in my mind why they work. You do good stuff. Was there a hot color? With me, the best one is the one I have two of and I’m fishing brush.
I was fishing a chart head, blue collar and yellow feather tail. Ill get a pick tomorrow.

Congrats on the catching and yes it's always best if you cat them on a jig you tied!

Good colors Grumpy. Have you ever tried the cinnamon and blue that Steve uses? I always forget to look for the chenille when I’m at a shop but it appeals to me and works for him.
