My friends Linda is undergoing surgery on her hand tomorrow to try and repair some damaged and torn ligaments and tendons. If successful she will be able hold her fishing pole again. Now she can barely hold a fork to eat with.

Good news from Dr. he found the problem that was causing all the pain in her hand and wrist. He feels that he was able repair the problem so as to end the pain.

Gene we are praying for a very complete surgery and a great healing.
I know Linda has been hurting for a long time and I pray all the pain will be gone.

Thanks my friends for all the support and prayers. Things went well but now to heal. She will be in a cast for 4 or 5 weeks and then start therapy. I'm just hopinig and praying that all go well. She feeling great right now but soon the pain block will wear off and then the fun begins. No strong narcotics, only mild pain relievers so I'm praying the pain isn't to great but from what the Dr. told me about the repairs he did, I figure she will be hurting something fierce.

Praying. Man Linda sure has had a rough time. I know with prayers she will heal up and be out fishing you again soon.

Morning update.
Not a bad night although we didn’t sleep much. Linda was just uncomfortable with the cast and a little wobbly on her feet still. This morning her head is clear and she is in no pain. I hope it stays that way. The Dr didn’t have to use any stitches in her hand. All he did was to cauterize the edges of the torn ligament and trim some edges. He said healing should be fast. Time will tell.

I was glad to read the Quacks found the issue and were on the ball. Even better to read of mrs Linda feeling better under the pain w/ the big stuff. Glad y’all are in favor of the mild pain relievers. Seen many cases go south otherwise
Amazing the advances since I was a kid. My middle caught glass in swamp two weeks ago...7 stitches and he bathed every day and mad his first soccer practice yesterday after momma removed em. My thoughts are with y’all for the same ease in recovery.
