they will all catch fish for sure
Actually, the purple body isn't very tapered.
Would tapered be better?

Very nice work and an excellent color choice. One of the best producing crankbaits I have is a chartreuse body with a fine glitter purple back. Some work sometimes but that one works most all of the time. Something I do that you might like is to take some of the soft fuzzy from the bottom of the feather and use that for the one color and the hackle of the other color. Extra action without changing style.
