First time I saw her was at a football game with her boyfriend at the time and I thought WOW she is one pretty girl! They broke up but I didn't think I had a chance at someone so beautiful, especially being just a farmboy from the sticks.

She apparently saw me and thought I was cute, but I was older and going to college so she was "afraid"of me.....

Our paths crossed back and forth and I decided to ask her out on a date......I was extremely shy back then so it took a lot of courage to ask her and she immediately said no.

I didn't take no for a answer, I asked her out about a dozen times and got the same answer......so I said heck with you!

About a week later I got into a car accident, and I guess she felt sorry for me and she agreed to go horseback riding with me, yes at one time I rode horses a lot, we used them to work our 300 head brood cow farm almost daily......she was a sucker for horses and that began a 40 plus year romance.

I still think she is the prettiest girl I ever seen and my catch of a lifetime.
