I've tried 3 different ways to buy MS fishing license on line and can't get past the 1st page. Any ideas? Where might be the most convenient place to buy them off I-55 as we head south to Crankfest early Thursday AM?

Any Walmart..
MDWFP.com should do it and as Knightshadow says WalMart can do it.
It can also be done by phone. You may not have time to get the actual license but they will give you a number to write down and carry with you. Mississippi
1-800-546-4868, Arkansas 1-800-346-4263, TN 1-888-814-8972, LA 1-888-765-2602. It is real handy for pop-up guest. Call in, put the number in your
pocket, and go fishing.
Hernando, MS Walmart will be your most convenient to I55.
Don’t call the 800 number. You will get someone in New York State and the don’t know what they are doing. They messed mine up and I ended up having to call Jackson.

I tried to renew mine and it kept kicking me out. I called the office and i had too many profiles/accounts created. I had never set one up I thought. Any the lady cleared them out and told me to try again tomorrow. I just went ahead and let her do it over the phone. I do like that you set it to auto-renew now.

Sounds like the Hernando WalMart might be our best bet. Can somebody give me directions and exit #?
Just FYI, I'm sure y'all already do this but my buddy is a state biologist with MSDWF and he had me download their app to my phone before we hit Sardis last weekend. Best thing is your licenses automatically show up on the app so they are always with you in case you leave your card at home or it hasn't been mailed to you yet. Pretty cool app plus you can use it to report turkey kills, etc.
I stopped at Rogersville Walmart and got mine yesterday. Easy Peasy
Get the MDWFP app for your phone. You have digital copies of your licenses, and they mail you physical copies for your bill fold!

I finally got it using the Chrome browser on our home PC.
I use chrome on my phone
Hmmm. App would not work this morning. Chrome and Firefox also failed on PC. Finally called MDWFP and bought over the phone. They were unaware that there was a problem with online purchases. They are working on the issue now......

I renewed in June and never got license. I did get confirmation email. I decided to download the app after seeing about it in this thread and when I logged in no license appeared. Called Jackson and the nice lady down there said they showed no license. She searched with my credit card info and finally found where I had purchased but I guess it didn’t flow through to their database. I now show a license and she’s sending me another one. I think the new auto-renewal feature has things a little messed up or the problems might be on their third party vendors end, too.
You can buy them at Cossar park also.

They also sell license at Lake Side Store at the north end of Enid Dam. It is a safer place to leave your gear unattended. Bubba Moore runs it. Open 6 AM to
6 or 8 PM.
