Saturday night

We had a wonderful night crappie fishing, took home 37 crappie all 11/12 inches. The weirdest thing was we fished shallow anchored in 19 ft all fish was on blue and pearl jig

Yes, last night was a good night. We set up in 20 foot and caught quite a few nice fish about the same size. Amazing thing for me, I caught only one fish all night. Greg and his son David whip butt on me. Total was 26 came home with us plus three added later at weigh in. Perch left us alone with only 11 making a trip to New Port cleaning table. :Rofl Good report Billy glad you got into them too! :highfive.

I'm about out of the one's I have. I used the little silver split tail the other night. It got a few taps but not quite what they wanted. I need to catch up with you and get some if you can spare a few for exchange of some pocket change! :popcorn

I hate to sound stupid but never tried jigs at night.We would quit night fishing when we couldn't keep minnows alive in hot weather.Think i might try, do you slow jig under lights.

You are not. Some of us use jigs at night. Cutbait is the pro at it. Just use a very slow retrieve after letting the jig fall to the bottom. I use his jigs he makes. He has some very good jigs. I like the flick tail type. Round body with a flat tail. Small size is best it seams. One turn seams to take forever on a light head jig. It works though. Just be ready for the thump. Cutbait has some new ones so you will have to PM him. He can fill you in.[emoji16]
