to stay warm Mark! it was perfect weather with temps in upper 70's but no humidity and nice breezes. especially out on water where it was very chilly and we dressed in layers. Perfect weather which is one of the appeals.Quote:

If you are still up there in the Sheboygan/Manitowac area run over to the little town of Newton and visit Newton Meats. Incredible meat shop with many types of wieners, sausage, brats, etc. My great Uncle John Wadginski started the place well over 50 years ago and they still use his recipes. Every trip to WI I load up a cooler and freeze when I get home.

guy that organized trip is fixated on cheese shops so we went to couple of those. Went to sheybogan falls and then down to Milwaukee for couple nights. Great town to visit and still able to go to docks and see the salmon coming in.
BTW buddy came home first and smoke a lake trout big filet and it was delicious!

Fished mostly out of Waukegan Harbor where most of my buddies were. But I had a boat in Northpoint Marina. I finally figured out that I could not catch Salmon from my boat, so I got rid of the boat and fished with all my Charter Boat Captain buddies whose websites I had made.
