Thanks for thinking about us, so far only a good steady breeze about 20-25 with some strong gusts. No rain yet but that going to change later this evening. Anyway on the bright side the brisket has been in the smoker about 6 hrs now and just hit the stall. I'll report back later as long as the power stays on.
So far all I had in Cinla is a little wind and less than 1/4" of rain. The weather forecaster predicted 12-15" of rain on the east side of this storm which I hope we don't get. The brisket just hit 195* time to take it off the smoker, this was a 12 1/2 hr cook. It sure looks and smells good
I got a sudden craving for brisket! Stay safe, prayers for all.
I got a little more rain overnight up to 3/4" and a wind now about SE 15-20 mph. The path moved further to the W. Look out skiptomylu looks like TS Barry wants to come visit ya'll over there on the Bend.Oh by the way the brisket was melt in your mouth delicious.
Chip quit teasing us like that. Glad all is well.

That brisket sure sounds gooood. Larto rose a bit but should start dropping again in a day or two. When it drops another foot or so, I'll be able to go and check the camp.
I emptied 4 inches out of my rain gauge at noon. Still one more day of this.

WE came out of the storm in good shape. Over three days only caught 3.5 inches in my gauge. The only damage was to my canvas carport and boat shed. one was shredded by the wind and the other one the poles kinked and bent. Also one fig tree blown over to a 45° angle. I will pull it back upright tomorrow and hope for the best. Hoping everyone else came out alright.

I'm getting hit by that last rain ban now, we had about 3" up until midnight Sunday night. I emptied the guage and it's over the top now, the water that I lost in the last couple of weeks took 1 night to fill back up. Me and the fish I planned on catching the next couple of weeks will be put on hold. I have water back on my porch again and have the 4 wheeler backed up to the steps to keep my feet dry. It's time for this to stop.
