I have all 3 sizes of Do-its Thump Grub molds. I love the two bigger sizes. They are one of my favorite baits to fish but I'm not a fan of the small one. The small one lacks the tail action of the two bigger sizes. It's not even close. I too would like to find a nice small paddle tail bait with lots of tail action.
A beaver tail is flat and has fluid movements a PaddleTail is in a vertical position relative to a horizontal body that causes the bait to wiggle when pulled through the water
I think for crappie 1 and 3/4 and 2 inch is best
I have the 1 3/4" Jacobs paddle tail and I am pleased with the action it has
Rick? Who or what company?
Too bad no one makes the mold for the 3" or 4" Slider Worm. It's by far the best finesse worm I've ever cast !

Go to Bass tackle molds And look at the warm Molds i’m sure that you will find three or 4 inch .

I've checked many company worm mold for the specific design of the Slider Worm and none are the same.
The paddle is tapered to a point when looking at it from the side same as for the Kut Tail Worm and the taper from the body to tail is continuous also looking at the worm from the side behind the egg sac bulge. I have made a mold of the Slider in plaster and it's okay but for detail, plaster leaves a bit to be desired.
